Terms & Conditions
Cruelty Free Candy is committed to providing first class customer service and satisfaction. To ensure there is no misunderstanding on how our service works we recommend that you take the time to read the following terms and conditions that you are agreeing to when you use and/or shop from www.crueltyfreecandy.co.uk. Please note we reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice.
Nothing in these terms and conditions affects the statutory rights of any purchaser.
We reserve the right to change any services, product prices, product specifications and availability at any time. All prices and descriptions supersede all previous publications. We do our best to keep information on stock availability up to date; however, we do not guarantee that stock will always be available.
Technical faults, upgrades, changes or improvements may lead to this site being temporarily unavailable or affect its performance or ability to communicate with you. As such we cannot guarantee that the information will always be completely up to date and free of mistakes and we make no warranty or representation to suggest otherwise. We will endeavour to correct any errors or omissions as quickly as possible after becoming aware or being notified of them. If you find an error or omission on the website please let us know.
We have made every effort to represent colours on or website as accurately as possible. However, different computers reproduce colours in different ways which means it is not possible to give an exact colour match on all products. Any weights or measurements given on the site are approximate and are given as a guide only.
Any links on the Cruelty Free Candy website that lead to third party websites are present only for the convenience of our customers. When you activate any of these links you will leave the Cruelty Free Candy website and we will have no control over and will accept no responsibility or liability for the content/material on any third party website. Their presence on our website does not imply our recommendation, representation, endorsement, affiliation or warranty in any respect.
All our sweets contain 100% vegan ingredients and are packaged by ourselves in a fully vegan environment, however some of them are manufactured in a facility which may also produce non-vegan food products so this poses a cross contamination risk with non-vegan allergens which means our products may not be suitable for those with allergies.
Please see our ingredients page for a full list of the products we supply along with their ingredients. We have marked the products on this list which are free from gluten but please note that we do also pack sweets which contain gluten in the same area so unfortunately our products are not suitable for those with severe wheat / gluten allergies.
We also pack sweets which may contain nuts, soy or seeds so again we can’t guarantee there won’t be any cross contamination of these allergens.
If you have an allergy and are looking to make a purchase then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to discuss things further before you place an order.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We must first validate your order and card details before the order can be accepted. Once this is done we will send an email to you to acknowledge that your order has been received. It is your responsibility to provide us with a valid email address / contact number so that we can contact you about your order when necessary.
All orders are subject to availability. If any goods ordered are not available you will be offered an alternative or be given a full refund for the product in question.
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided on the order form and we will not accept an order unless all details requested on the order form have been entered correctly. We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you and will not be required to provide an explanation.
5. Pricing & Promotions
We have taken great care to ensure the prices on our website are accurate; however in the unlikely event that the price or description of an item has been incorrectly advertised, we will contact you by email, telephone or post to ask whether you wish to proceed with your order with the correct price or description. If you are not happy to proceed, or we are unable to obtain your instructions, we will cancel the order. Unless we have already dispatched your order, we will not be obliged to supply products at the incorrect price or based on an incorrect description.
Prices are subject to change without notice and are in pounds sterling.
All offers are subject to availability while stocks last. We reserve the right to withdraw an offer at any time without notice.
If you have a promotional code this needs to be entered at the checkout before payment is made and may be used once per customer. Some promotional codes may not be used in conjunction with certain products / offers on the site and may not be redeemed after the expiry date - please refer to separate terms and conditions with each promotional code for details. We reserve the right to remove any promotional code at any time without notice.
All our online transactions are fully secured through either Shopify Payments or Paypal. We will take payment at the time of order and this will be debited from your account prior to the dispatch of your purchase(s).
A purchase order is not deemed accepted until we send you our order confirmation e-mail, whether or not this is received by you.
We will issue you with an electronic receipt to your email address once the goods have been dispatched.
When you pay for your order by credit or debit card, we carry out checks or 'authorisations' with the card issuer for security reasons. Should any problems occur with the authorisation of your card, we will contact you with further details.
We aim to ship all orders within a maximum of 2 working days. For economy orders we normally use Royal Mail 2nd class which means most orders are received within 2 to 5 working days from the date of order. Royal Mail 1st class and DPD next day delivery are also available, please see our delivery page for more details on these services.
Any dates quoted for delivery are given as a guide and we will not be liable for any delays to this date.

We only ship to addresses within the UK.
If your item does not arrive within the expected timescale we can provide a tracking number upon request when available. We will do everything we can to work with Royal Mail / DPD to try and locate your order.

You are entitled to cancel your order at any point before dispatch. Please email us at email@example.com to do so.

We offer a cooling off period of 14 days from when the order was received for you to notify us that you would like to return any qualifying items. To start a return please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will check your order to confirm if it qualifies.
